For the 2020 American Flat Track season, I’ve decided that my company, SGT Creative, will be launching a racing sponsorship program aimed at privateer racers. Aptly named “SGT Racing” the program will be launched with the support of # 23 Jeffrey Carver Jr.

As a photographer, I’ve worked within the motorcycle industry for over a decade. And while my passion for flat track racing is deep, I owe much of my professional success to this industry and all of those folks working within it. I’ve often been inspired by my passionate friends at Sideburn Magazine, FTWCO, Born Free, See See Motorcycles, RSD and Fuel Cafe in their efforts to keep local tracks alive in our communities, and grow the viewership on a community level. This sponsorship program has grown out of my respect and admiration of racers and race fans.

The sponsorship program will be a balanced approach of financial support and media creation. Many riders don’t always have access to photography and videography for their promotional materials, and my goal is to partner with riders that I can assist on that front as well. Privateers are always looking for good support, faster rides, and bigger sponsors. My hope is that high quality media assets can be helpful on that front.

SGT Racing will be in its first season in 2020, and I would love to go beyond just ‘writing a check’ as a sponsor. I look forward to working with Jeffrey this year, and learning from him what he needs as a racer at the top level. Being new to this side of the sport, I look forward to the tasks ahead.
